Software Developer I – Full-Stack LAMP/PHP

DataOne Software (dataonesoftware.com), a Dominion Enterprises company, is seeking a talented, versatile, and entrepreneurial Junior Full-Stack LAMP/PHP Developer for our Beverly, MA office.

Junior Software Developers at DataOne have responsibilities and influence similar to those of Mid-level and Senior developers at many other companies. You will be expected to hit the ground running and immediately take on meaningful work. You will need to be able to solve complex problems independently and work effectively across our technology stack, but you will also receive excellent support, mentorship, and coaching from our senior staff.

We operate a professional development shop. Our team uses GitHub for source control, we have automated deploys, we write automated tests, and we peer review all code before it hits production. Applicants should have the following:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Some experience programming on your own time (non-academic, non-professional) strongly preferred
• Mastery of one or more Object-Oriented programming languages
• Mastery of SQL fundamentals and relational database design concepts
• Experience with PHP, Linux, jQuery, web application development, and APIs preferred, but not required
• A positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
