Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, experienced Software D eveloper who is motivated, pays close attention to detail, and is well-acquainted with converting VB6 code to Visual Studio using C#. This temporary contract position located in Tukwila, WA will allow you to join a highly experienced team of top-notch developers.

Job Responsibilities

• VB6 knowledge (be able to read the old code, object-oriented approach)
• Visual Studio and C# (be able to write new code in C#)
• Strong Team Member (participate in weekly/bi-weekly code reviews to ensure new code is written with internal development standards in mind)
• TFS knowledge
• SSMS/SQL knowledge – SQL Server back-ends using stored procedure.
• Scrum-Agile knowledge beneficial
• Polished development and solid Unit Testing expected.
• Strong ability to write ‘Unit Test Plans’

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 3-5 years’ proven experience in VB6 and C# programming
• Advanced skills in Visual Studio, TFS, SSMS/SQL
• Strong references
