Synopsis

Would you like to join our experienced development team to support our geographic expansion? We are seeking an individual to work with our senior developers to maintain our existing data processes and to design and develop the next generation of data integration using SQL Server.

You will be part of an experienced team challenged with integrating and managing large disparate data sets across multiple sources. Combine your programming skills with your SQL Server knowledge to satisfy our client information and mapping needs. You will be actively involved in quality assurance, automation, developing workflows, scenarios and validating your results. The next generation of our online property information and mapping application is in the final development stage; this is a great opportunity for you to add your programming background and experience to our existing technical team of programmers, designers, and web developers.

Responsibilities

Create Entity Relationship Diagrams to the proposed database
Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, etc.
Create functions to provide customer functionality as per requirements
Identify and create Primary Keys during design
Be aware of potential blocking, deadlocking and write code to avoid these issues
Identify and write best possible code for new deployments or for version upgrades
Participate in application discussions and provide functionality for the applications
Clearly comprehend and analyze code test results and ensure software performance
Assist in developing production techniques for long term version development
Show initiative in prioritizing tasks and carrying them through to completion

Credentials

A good skill set in Microsoft SQL is mandatory with a desire to advance those skills
One or more years programming experience in Microsoft VB.net, C-Sharp, C++, or related language is required
Have experience with database driven web applications
Desire to research, design, author, test and profile source code
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field. Or, equivalent combination of education, training and related work experience
Current Microsoft Certifications in SQL Server, VB.net, C#, or C++ is a plus

Recommended Qualifications

Windows programming skills including .NET and Visual Studio
Experience with VB.net, Java & C#
Knowledge of relational database technologies in Microsoft SQL Server
Previous involvement in software development projects
