Software Developer

Hytec Dealer Services is the national leader in electronic repair and parts fulfillment for the office imaging industry serving all of North America. Our company has a solid history of quality and strong customer service for over 30 years. With our recent growth and expansion, we are looking to add a talented Software Developer to our growing team.

The Software developer is responsible for assisting the Lead Software Developer in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of Hytec Dealer Services’ software systems. This position will work under the direction of the Lead Software Developer to complete software projects while utilizing the appropriate software development resources, including their own software development skills, and external resources.

Responsibilities

• Web application development (ASP.NET, JavaScript, C#, JQuery, HTML, CSS, React JS)
• Developing new user-facing features with React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Windows application development
• Database stored procedure development (Oracle PL/SQL)
• Business reports development (Crystal Reports for .NET)
• Troubleshoot and diagnose user bug reports

Job Requirements

• Must have experience designing and developing web and Windows applications using the .NET Framework
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience in React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN )
• Must have strong object-oriented design and development skills
• Must have experience in SQL, database design and stored procedure development, preferably using Oracle PL/SQL
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Must be able to interact well with all levels of personnel within an organization
• Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be reliable, dependable, positive, self-motivated, and a person of integrity
• Must possess a strong work ethic, and an ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree, or have equivalent work experience and certifications
