Summary

The company is searching for a talented scientist/developer joining a lean product development team working on AI applications. The candidate must be an out-of-box thinker and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Software Algorithm Engineer is responsible to address highly challenging scientific and engineering problems using imaging processing and machine-learning methods.

• Self-motivated and be able to blend into a small team with minimal supervision.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Be able to explain and present algorithm design internally and to customers.
• Master’s degree in computer science or similar disciplines; Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Three years of professional experience in algorithm design and programming.
• Be able to support new science project: from prototype to final product implementation.

Technical Skills

• Strong fundamental programming and debugging skills
• Substantial programming experience is expected, preferably in Python
• Modern machine-learning methods
• Computer vision and image processing algorithms
• Algorithm performance testing
• .NET coding experiences
• Cloud computing such as AWS is a plus
