Social Services Staff

Endeavors Staffing Services (Intrepid Staffing) provides support personnel, direct care staff, logistics, case managers, supervisory staff and clinicians on a temporary basis to the federal government and other agencies in times of crisis due to national emergencies/disasters or unexpected increased staffing needs. Our staff are able to meet the needs of an agency by being able to provide outreach, emotional support, individual and group crisis counseling, public education, and referrals.

We deploy staff to the entire United States and have a list of “Reservists” that we call upon when needed. Employment is on a seasonal/as-needed basis. Current positions are for a 16-18 month assignment in Florida.

• Seeking personnel who possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• MUST pass a full criminal background check

• A minimum of one (1) year of progressive employment experience in behavioral science, human services, or social services fields to include direct client contact is required.

• Prior experience in child welfare, emergency disaster response and/or recovery environments to include working within multi-disciplinary teams to develop specified goals and outcomes is strongly preferred.

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, as well as, organizational and planning skills

• Possess sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics

• Must be able to use database, computer literate

• Good writing skills

• Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility with work schedule

  • MUST attend and pass training/orientation class before deploying

  • Fluency in Spanish a plus

  • Must have HS Diploma or GED (Must be able to show proof of education – can be a copy)

  • Must be 21 years or older

  • Must have valid/current (non-expired) Driver’s License and be able to provide original

  • Must have reliable, personal transportation due to travel requirements

    In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

• Work hours: As needed. Varies upon the task. Some positions are staffed for 24 hours operations.

• Work Location: Various locations throughout Florida

• Length of deployment/assignment: estimated 16-18 months

• Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr.
