Social Security Disability Firm Looking for a Intake Specialist

A growing Englewood Cliffs, NJ law firm is seeking a Intake Specialist for immediate hire. Our Consumer advocacy firm has opened a new department specializing in Social Security Disability Claims. Opportunity for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answering incoming calls, directing calls and taking messages
• Assisting with case management and office filing from inception to finish
• Preparing outgoing documentation, emails, mail, faxes, etc.
• Following up with attorneys on cases
• Building knowledge of firm and client processes
• Managing excel spreadsheets
• Additional duties as assigned by attorneys and office management

Job Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of telephone customer service experience
• Highly developed skills in time and task management and must be self-motivated
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and be highly organized
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computerized business applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as legal research
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced typing proficiency
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and client service is a must
• Spanish is a plus
• Medical and Legal knowledge is a plus

Required Education:

• High school or equivalent
