Social Media Coordinator & Marketing Assistant

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Coordinator and Marketing Assistant. In this position, you will work with our Director of Marketing developing original content and suggest creative way to attract more audience views to promote our brand as well as clients’ brands. We are looking for someone who is able to increase web traffic and audience engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create engaging text, image and video content;
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new ideas, events, and information;
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO;
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness;
  • Facilitate online conversations with audience and respond to queries;
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from audience, clients and fans;
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout;
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics;
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective clients, fans (i.e. promotions and competitions)
  • Participate in company events.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, New media or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media coordinator
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of SCE, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Online marketing and social media management experience
  • Deadline-oriented with proven time and workflow management skills;
  • Comfortable learning and studying Internet protocols, software and tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work with all members of the organization while taking ownership of core areas of responsibility;
  • Thrive in a fun, challenging and fast-paced work environment.
