Olive & June is looking for a extremely motivated, highly organized, execution-focused and also enthusiastic and energetic Social Media Coordinator to scale our social channels. The ideal candidate can’t wait to play a pivotal role in Olive & June’s growth and is excited by the the fast paced, always changing startup life.

Responsibilities:

Scale Olive & June’s social media following by:

• Strategizing the best content to deliver both inspiration and education to our community on Instagram, Facebook and beyond.

• Working directly with our Founder to bring her Olive & June vision and voice to our community.

• Encouraging and increasing our community’s user generated content.

• Brainstorming and implementing highly engaging collaborations.

• Analyzing the data to see what’s resonating and what’s not, and quickly pivoting to consistently engage our community. Delivering a bi weekly analysis of what the analytics are saying and what we’re looking to do next.

• Working with the Content & Education Manager on creating a network of engaged influencers across the country to help grow our community and increase our product reach

• Staying current and knowledgeable of trends, strategy, and aware of additional opportunities to grow audience engagement.

Manage all social media platforms by:

• Implementing a content calendar, delivered at least two weeks in advance while being opportunistic on relevant day of moments.

• Execute all posts, stories, uploads, pins and more.

• Respond and engage with followers via comments, direct messages and organically reaching out to new followers.

• Working directly with our salon teams to create and encourage new content.

Support all product rollouts by:

• Managing all aspects of photo shoots including booking models, manicurists, photographers, videographers etc.

• Creating shot lists that highlight the products and inspire our community.

Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years of social media experience

• A natural content creator, with a passion for storytelling and concept creation

• Familiar with the newest trends in fashion, design, art, music and social media

• Ability to shoot high quality still photos and video content

• A project manager with high attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects.

• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and strong time management skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Able to receive and communicate feedback directly

• Basic Photoshop skills
