General Description
ATL is seeking an engaged and detailed oriented Social Media Coordinator to assist with passenger engagement for ATL managed social media channels. The candidate should have good verbal and written skills with an in depth knowledge of the functions of social media.

At ATL, social media channels average over 800,000 engagements weekly with 500+ being direct inquiries from passenger requiring assistance or support in real time. The Social Media Coordinator is the initial point of contact for passengers online ultimately enhancing the experience and level of service offered in and by ATL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Direct responses to passengers that use messaging features via social media (re: Facebook messenger and/or direct messages via Twitter or Instagram)
Passenger engagement during inclement weather or crisis
Synthesize social analytics and articulate proficiencies or challenges that effect the passenger experience in ATL (re: Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Twitter Analytics, etc.)
Collaborate with the guest service team to identify issues with the guest experience
Cross functional collaboration with various departments to coordinate response efforts that arise via social (re: Concessions, Communications, Safety & Security, etc.)
Develop reporting data including the timeliness, category/content and follow up tracking for received inquires

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Consumer Products or related field. 2+ years experience in social media, marketing, promotions, project management or related field.

Preferred Education and Experience
Digital, Social Media and/or Consumer products in marketing, advertising and/or promotions

Software Proficiencies
Facebook (administrative functions)
Twitter (administrative functions)
Instagram (administrative functions)
Hootsuite
Functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite Software, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint
