Snowflake Data Engineer

BICP, a leading edge and dedicated BI, Analytics & Big Data consulting firm, is currently looking for a Big Data Engineer for to initially support a major Teradata to Snowflake migration effort at our longstanding and direct client NIKE in Portland, OR. Ideal consultants must have advanced SQL and Python experience with strong overall data wrangling skills. Must have solid Teradata experience in addition to experience working with very large datasets such as Spark, Hadoop/Hive etc. Previous Airflow or Snowflake experience is a huge plus but not mandatory.

Ideal consultant will have at least some of the following: S3, EMR, Spark, SQL Server, Tableau, Python and Shell. We’re not looking for people that have done all of the aforementioned but should have tangible experience in at least a couple of these areas. Any Retail or Supply Chain experience is a huge plus. I’m looking to hire candidates that can thrive in an Agile environment and who possesses great interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with parallel technical teams and have the ability to closely collaborate & drive conversations with the business.
