Shipping / Receiving Clerk

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all warehouse shipping and receiving duties
• Enter receiving, inventory, and shipping data into corporate databases
• Fulfill requests for material issues and movement
• Prepare shipping documentation
• Perform as a mail courier
• Make daily runs to custom site
• Deal with outside vendors
• Responsible to Logistics Manager for all inventories of Government Furnished Equipment and Material and the associated reports

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Be able to accurately and efficiently process incoming material and record the results to support accurate handling of the material and prompt payment of supplier invoices
• Work with MS Access databases
• Use hand tools and hand-operated tools such as pallet jacks

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Fork lift certified
