The Engineer Modification & Maintenance / Field Operations Capability seeks a Service Technician (Entry-Level) to join the Network Services & Service Engineering Team for Derivative Aircraft in Tukwila, WA.

Commercial Derivative Aircraft are commercial aircraft modified with specialized systems and equipment integration, currently these production aircraft are P-8, C-40A & KC-46A. The successful candidate will review incoming messages from operators, coordinate, release technical response and review quality and deficiency reports for fleet applicability under general supervision. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Investigates simple technical, maintenance, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer.
Assists in troubleshooting to understand root cause.
Receives customer reports and correlates to established criteria for reportable events.
Provides reports and assistance in researching event to determine safety implications.
Develops routine in-service correspondence for continued safe and efficient operation and maintenance of equipment.
Initiates routine quality investigations.
Coordinates limited technical communications between customers, suppliers and Boeing resources to assure customer requirements are met.
Travel for work 10% of the time.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum AA degree in related discipline

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/ Experience):

Experience with the REDARS system
Minimum 1 year of experience with 737NG maintenance programs
Experience reading, interpreting or working from engineering drawings/blue prints or 3 dimensional Computer Aided Design applications
Experience with general, commercial or military aviation preferred; i.e. experience working on Military or Military/Commercial Derivative Aircraft
Experience supporting operational aircraft

Typical Education/ Experience:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
