Our growing team is focused on delivering a transformational experience for our clients. At our core, we’re customer service specialists who happen to have built an LMS, and we’re looking for a Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is collaborative and detail-oriented and has a passion for overcoming obstacles and demonstrating to clients the wonder and power of CODE. We’d love it if you have experience in full-stack development, enjoy providing technical solutions, destroying bugs, and translating tech-talk into English. The Role

We’re looking for a full-stack generalist engineer who jumps head-first into tough problems. Your primary focus will be client-requested services across the spectrum of the Wisetail client family. This role can hand you tasks that span the breadth of difficulty. Sometimes you’ll do a series of database configurations that make the LMS match the client’s needs so quickly that they’ll be left awestruck. Sometimes you’ll troubleshoot a bug and submit a fix just in the nick of time. Sometimes you’ll need a few days to set up a data feed via API, helping our clients get users into their systems seemingly through magic. Your internal customers will be our CX (client experience) team, and when you’re on a roll completing services you’ll get so many high-fives from them your hands may be sore.

You’re a good fit if…

You’ve worked on web applications used by real people.

Some of the most satisfying work you’ve done has involved serving others, and the idea of combining that with development work sounds like a dream come true.

You’re familiar with our tech stack — Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP.

Along with your technical aptitude, you’re a problem solver, continuous learner, and great collaborator.

You learn fast, pivot on a dime, and love figuring out ways to improve processes through development work, scripting, and brainstorming with the team.

Requirements

Based in Bozeman.

Experience in both front and back-end technologies.

Strong communication skills with the ability to absorb and follow direction.

Ability to manage time wisely and shift priorities as client needs shift.

An absolute passion for using your development skills to solve problems and make people’s lives easier and more beautiful.

You could have experience with Laravel
