Senior Web Developer – Global IT (Boise, ID)

We currently have a Senior Web Developer position available at our global headquarters in Boise, ID.

SUMMARY

Responsible for all facets of technical development across mobile apps, websites, APIs and digital content management systems. Responsible for software development practices, frameworks, code and scoping of deliverables within an Agile delivery team. Works collaboratively within an Agile & DevOps team in building continuous delivery and integration platforms across all digital assets, ensuring high-quality solutions and support.

RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure that delivery of applications is in line with the Global Enterprise Architecture and Standards.Contribute to all phases of solution delivery, including scoping, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.Ensure all software and code development is integrated into testing plans and delivered according to agreed delivery cycles, defined user stories, and acceptance criteria.Develop, maintain and communicate coding standards and frameworks relevant to digital assets, ensuring high quality of development, solution delivery and code design.Work collaboratively with partners, ensuring code meets defined development standards within agreed frameworks.Ensure relevant repositories are developed and maintained for all deliverables including source code management, designs and supporting documentation.Lead the development of continuous integration strategies to aid in rapid deployment and delivery of solutions.Lead initiatives to improve and optimize the use of technology across digital platforms to enhance the overall user experience and adoption of web/mobile platforms.Work collaboratively with suppliers and vendors to ensure solutions are appropriately designed, developed and integrated into team methodologies, development practices and standards.Ensure the effective application of lean and agile methodologies from ideation to delivery phases across the delivery team.Drive a continuous improvement culture through effective knowledge sharing, fostering innovation, and lean and agile practices to improve overall digital delivery capabilities.Provide technical guidance on digital initiatives to ensure appropriate use of technologies and tools.Keep abreast of new methodologies, development practices and emerging technology trends, presenting recommendations to relevant leadership groups and peers across the organization.Provide on-call and after-hours support as required on a rotational basis.

REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree from 4 year college or university. Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or associated discipline preferred. Relevant Agile & Lean certifications preferred. Extensive experience of IT, in particular e-commerce, web, Cloud technologies, and DevOps. Working experience in a broad range of technologies relevant to the development and enhancement of websites including Sitecore, Hybris, .NET, ASP, Java, and ColdFusion.Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.
