We are expanding our Information Technology Department and seek experienced professionals to accelerate turning ideas into reality.

Position Overview:

The Senior Web Developer will be working to customize the software package for external clients. They will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying each software solution from layout to function in coordination with client’s specifications.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Conferring with both internal and external development teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, and develop content criteria.
• Collaborate in understanding requirements and exhibit creativity in problem solving. Be the go-to-person for solutions to the most complex logic problems.
• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with the client’s applications.
• Assist in mentoring and developing the junior developers.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or similar degrees, or equivalent technical work experience
• 5+ years developing web based applications using any of the widely used industry technologies such as ASP,ASP.NET, PHP, Java, or Coldfusion
• Experience creating advanced client browser experiences with Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, AJAX. Experience creating responsive solutions to optimize mobile device compatibility would be a plus
• Experience creating or invoking integration web services with partners using XML, SOAP, or JSON would be a plus
• Experience with SQL language coding using any of the widely used database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server
• Experience with MS SQL Server would be a plus.
• Experience in database administration tasks of table design, performance management, and backup is required
• Experience using a software version management tool
• Demonstrated approach to the System Development Life Cycle to Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy quality software changes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Display abilities to learn new technologies and new skills through self-study, professional training and from senior team members
• Ability to produce with minimal supervision
