DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working independently and collaboratively withothers, this position plays an integral role in executing our mission,philosophy, and commitment to providing high quality products and exceptionalcustomer service to our internal and external customers. In addition to maintaining a high level oftrust, integrity and ethical standards, all employees are also expected topromote a culture of safety by following all safety procedures, protocols andguidelines while working in a manner that minimizes the risk of damage toproperty and injury to the employee and others.

Develops information systems by studyingoperations and designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Helpsto choose and integrate third party software. Manages individual or groupprojects. Mentors junior developers. Stays current on industry best practicesand uses them to chart and implement change. Looks for opportunities toleverage existing software for new products.

The essentialfunctions of this position include designing, developing and implementingmultiple web applications that support day-to-day business operations in acost-efficient manner while developing technical solutions that measurablyimprove scalability, performance and profits of the company, prioritizing andcompleting all essential functions in a timely and efficient manner, adjustingfor changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstratinginitiative and strategic thinking in identifying opportunities for continuousimprovement in each aspect of theposition’s span of control.

MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science degree in computer related field is required or experience equivalent to degree, as determined by Director of IT. Strong oral and written communication skills matching the job tasks. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Well-reasoned decision making with a high attention to detail. Highly ethical, self-motivated. 10 or more years doing full stack web application development using the following languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL. Use of industry standard IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse. Hibernate a plus. 2 or more years producing and consuming REST endpoints using JQuery and Jersey 2, or similar technologies. Experience using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Artifactory. Agile. Clean Code. Patterns. JMeter, Selenium a plus. Experience integrating with and between ERP systems. Experience with JDE 9 and/or Microsoft CRM a plus. Experience with Microsoft infrastructure: Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Windows 7/10. Experience with C# and .NET a plus. Experience with Load balancers like NGINX, Reverse Proxying, Java Web Containers (Tomcat a plus), Security Hardening and Hosting JEE containers on Windows servers.
