Senior Vice President, Information Technology

What you’ll do:
Billtrust is seeking a Senior Vice President, Information Technology to provide vision and leadership for all aspects of our information technology infrastructure and operations. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will attract, manage and grow a distributed team tasked with solving complex challenges within a high-growth Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of our systems/network engineering, production operations, database administration, information security, and end-user computing efforts. Furthermore, you will manage all IT operations expenditures and capital investments.

• Consistently achieve and exceed ITSM goals for systems availability, application performance, scalability, throughput, and data security. Establish an ITSM framework. Coach the team on ways to achieve and exceed these goals
• Form strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Quality leadership to achieve ITSM goals, but also product development and innovation goals
• Manage a ~$10M operating and capital budget and optimize outcomes vs spend
• Recruit, develop, and grow a talented team across all Billtrust platforms

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Proven ability to successfully lead mission-critical IT operations at large scale – 15+ years of relevant, progressive experience
• Possesses a full breadth of knowledge and experience on technology infrastructure and best practices
• Possesses emotional intelligence and cultivates it within his/her direct reports and staff
• Ability to inspire technical teams to higher levels of performance
• Process discipline
• Strong drive to focus on the proactive and eliminate the reactive; However, executes effectively when in reactive mode
• Able to build, manage and foster a highly-productive, team-oriented environment
• Strong ability to recruit, train and lead each team member to reach their potential
• Ability to influence others, collaborate cross-functionally, and work well in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor degree in Business, MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
