SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT/ CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

As the Highest level financial executive, responsible for the management of HMNH overall financial operations including financial planning, analysis, accounting, contracting, capital and budget processes. Monitors and reports on financial performance against annual budget. Provides financial strategic management and recommends financial plans and budgets for approval. Responsible for development, interpretation, and administration of the hospital’s policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, and audit. Licensure and Certification: C.P.A. (or Masters) preferred HFMA awards or certifications. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Master’s degree in Business (or C.P.A.) preferred. Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of acute care hospital or related healthcare consulting or audit experience with a major firm. Knowledge and Skills: Complete understanding of hospital operations, accounting and finance, reimbursement including Medicare, Medicaid and payor contracting Ability to negotiate major term contracts and to manage a diverse group of healthcare area specialists in business services, purchasing, accounting, case management, HIM and other related healthcare finance areas.
