Job Description

GENERAL SCOPE AND SUMMARY

Located in our Chelmsford, MA office, this position is responsible for the design, installation and support of Windows and cloud-based services. This includes server, Azure Cloud, storage, SAN and tape environments integrated into our corporate data center as well as our remote facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, architect, recommend, and implement enterprise hardware and software solutions
• Support production environment in a process driven, best practices manner
• Analyze and evaluate new technologies, hardware, and software solutions
• Troubleshoot Windows, Linux and Unix based infrastructure systems (on premise and cloud based)
• Day-to-day operations support of storage and backup environments
• Analyze, upgrade and configure operations hardware and related peripherals
• Mentor and develop junior team members

Qualifications

Requirements

• Windows Server (2008, R2 and above)
• Advance knowledge of Azure and O365 solutions
• Experience integrating on premise and cloud solutions (Hybrid Azure Infrastructure)
• Advanced scripting for infrastructure integration and automation between on premise and cloud solutions (Azure)
• Working knowledge of PowerShell and other scripting languages
• Backup (Veritas NetBackup and Azure Cloud)
• Storage (Dell Compellent, Azure StorSimple, EMC Data Domain, HP, Hitachi Universal Storage Platform (USP-VM))
• SAN protocols (Fiber Channel, iSCSI, and NFS – Brocade and Force 10 Switches)
• Excellent understanding of Azure, O365, networking, DNS, mail flow and related architecture
• High availability and server clustering
• Experience working with vendors and various solution providers
• Data archiving is a plus

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Minimum of 7 years of direct infrastructure, server, and network experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Azure & O365 Solutions required.
• BA/BS degree required.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• Experience working with vendors and various solution providers
• Experience with Data Archiving is preferred
