Senior Software Engineer

At Health Recovery Solutions, our software developers are the core of our business and have a direct impact on patients health. We are currently looking to bring on board a Java developer to work on several innovative projects. Candidates should have strong skills in web services development. While Java is the primary development language sought, candidates should be fluent in a broad range of related web development technologies and languages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Work with the engineering and clinician teams for constant iteration of our platform.

– Design, implement and test new features across multiple different software projects.

– Provide technical recommendations and documentation as well as evaluate new technologies.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

– BS or MS in Computer Science or similar

– 2+ years experience developing with Java

– 2+ years experience with PHP

– 2+ years experience with frontend web programming (HTML, Javascript)

– Proficient with linux

– Familiarity with relational databases (e.g mysql)

– Self-motivated, independent thinker capable of working within a highly distributed team

– Live in New York City Metro Area or have established work-from-home experience

Highly qualified candidates will have experience with:

– Docker

– Distributed systems

– Security architecture and encryption

– Agile methodologies

– Taco Tuesday

Salary: $80,000.00 to $140,000.00 /year
