Senior Software Developer/Platform

Our client is in search of a Senior Software Developer who is adept at designing and implementing systems that efficiently and reliably process high volumes of live call data under rigorous security standards. This is an excellent opportunity to become a member of their real-time analytics team, and be one of the primary engineers responsible for enhancing and maintaining all aspects of our clients platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain system components for transforming raw audio and metadata into actionable insights in real time, working independently and in collaboration with other team members
• Work with system architects to define, implement, and support private and public APIs
• Assist operations staff with planning, deploying, and maintaining system components as part of our cloud-based services
• Assist quality assurance with testing, product managers with planning, sales with proposals, and other departments with activities related to your products

Requirements

• Experience building enterprise-scale applications; BA/BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
• Windows development experience using C# and object-oriented design principles
• Experience with agile software development methodologies such as scrum
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Working knowledge of data encryption and PCI-DSS compliance

Pluses

• Experience developing software for Linux as well as Windows using tools such as .NET, Mono, ASP, AJAX, Javascript, AngularJS, CSS, Backbone, and SignalR
• Experience with messaging platforms such as MSMQ and RabbitMQ
• Experience with Salesforce APIs and Lightning Voice
• Experience with cloud computing environments such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Terremark vCloud Express
• Experience integrating with speech recognition technology
