Senior Software Developer

ProKarma is currently hiring multiple senior Software Developers to join our team full-time in Overland Park, KS! Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, keep up to date with new technologies, and provide SME knowledge and current application functionality to Enterprise Test teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for code asset management for applications
• Perform unit/integrated completed system testing according to detailed functional specification
• Assist in determination of solutions as needed case by case and the support the implementation of systems into production
• Update code, unit testing and perform standard design responsibilities as needed
• Utilize accepted methodologies and tools in a disciplined manner
• Support Integrations team with SME knowledge and support ET testing and issue resolution

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working in the IT industry developing solutions in various Java technologies
• Telecom background a plus
• Technical development in using: Java, J2EE, JSP, Webservices /SOAP and REST, Oracle, JBoss, Mulesoft, Unix Scripting and middleware experience
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
• Experience in ANT, Maven, Jenkins, SVN and Git
• SQL tuning and API tuning
• Strong working experience with Agile teams
• Strong Analytical skills with proficiency in solving problem
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
