Job Description

Our Chicago office is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in the Information Technology group with 5-7 years of Infrastructure engineering/architecture experience. We are looking for someone who is very strong in the Information Security and Network Administration spaces, but is comfortable in a generalist environment where you will get to learn and work on other areas of technology.

Ideal candidate should want and expect to be challenged on a daily basis and be comfortable in an open and collaborative environment where all opinions are valued. You should have a mindset where you are always questioning previous choices/decisions and looking for better, more efficient and automated solutions. You should not be afraid to look at and try new things/technologies.

The responsibilities of an Assistant Vice President, Development include, but are not limited to:

• Design, implement, configure, and support a global technical architecture including:
• Cisco network switches and routers
• Palo Alto Firewall appliances
• Dell SecureWorks iSensor IPS
• Meraki wireless access points
• Qualys Vulnerability Scanning
• BeyondTrust Retina Vulnerability Scanning
• RSA SecurID
• Active Directory
• Azure
• Office365
• Hyper-V virtualization
• NetApp SAN
• Microsoft Exchange 2010
• Coordinate with third party vendors to resolve issues with vendor systems or software
• Support a 24/7 global environment with rotating on-call schedule
• Work the later schedule until 5:30pm

Qualifications

• Strong general security and risk mitigation knowledge
• Knowledgeable about security topics across multiple technical disciplines
• On-premise and Azure/Office365 security experience
• Internal and external vulnerability scanning and remediation
• CISSP certification a strong plus
• Palo Alto firewall administration
• Security policies, IPSEC tunnels, Global Protect, Panorama
• Certification a plus
• Cisco data/voice switch and router design and administration
• Standalone and switch stacks, dynamic routing, UCS
• CCNA or higher a plus
• Strong scripting and automation skills
• PowerShell a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong desire to learn new technologies
• Ability to work as part of a team, but also drive projects individually
