Senior Network Engineer

The position of the Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, building and troubleshooting the latest and greatest technologies and products. There is a large emphasis on Virtualization technologies and products. We will need you to provide expert advice and guidance to high-performing team members and customers regarding specific technical aspects of the systems or concept development.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  
  • Must currently hold or be eligible for the reinstatement of a previously held SECRET security clearance
  
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  
  • Five to Ten years of relevant Network Engineering work experience
  
  • Networking skills: Firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAN, WAPs, Routing, Switching, mesh networks, IP encryptors, and tunneling technologies
  
• Advanced network knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

DESIRED (Skills or desire to gain skills in the following areas)

• Specific experience with or knowledge of Navy operations and networking requirements
  
• Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance requirements
  
• Certifications – Linux+, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
  
• VMware VSAN, vSphere, NSX knowledge
  
• Experience with VMware, vSphere and VSAN
  
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Network Security (CCSP)
  
• Security+, CASP or CISSP certification
  
• Project Management experience
  
• Strong Virtualization Experience – KVM, Xen, VMWare
  
• Enterprise Security Policy knowledge and best practices
