Senior .NET Developer

Within our Corporate and Investment Banking the commodities department is a worldwide major actor on commodity index, precious metals, base metals, oil, gas and power markets.

The IT Development team based in San Francisco is responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the global commodities group. The development team is sitting directly on the desk and works in very close and constant interaction with the traders and account managers in a fully Agile fashion, to develop and support all the software used for the trading of commodities.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate end user needs, client goals, constraints and existing applications to architect well designed structures that will grow and scale.
• Design, develop and implement new web-based applications, enhancements, and new features to our products which are primarily ASP.NET.
• Supports and enhances existing applications and automation processes on a daily basis using ASP.NET, JavaScript, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Design data models and persist data to SQL Server, manipulate and transform data using T-SQL
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
• Document all programming tasks and procedures

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years experience in software development
• Proficient in Microsoft Technologies such as .NET and IIS Architecture
• C#/ASP.Net/Front-end and back-end development
• Proficient in C#.NET, ASP.NET WebForms and designing and implementing scalable WEB applications
• Proficient in JavaScript libraries, jQuery, Angular, CSS3, HTML5, SCSS and Bootstrap Framework
• A proven track record of delivering highly available enterprise systems
• Brokerage/Financial Industry Experience a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
