Senior .Net Developer

LivePerson is currently seeking a Senior Net Developer to join our R&D team based out of our Alpharetta office.

ContactAtOnce! What You Will Own?

  • Leads the design, coding and testing of software components with input of Senior Technical Architects
  • Primary technology focused on Microsoft stack such as Microsoft ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server
  • Proficient in C#, javascript, SQL
  • Familiar with implementing REST Services
  • Develops and maintains automated tests
  • Follows agile development practices (refactoring, test first development, etc) and processes (Scrum)
  • Web Development Mgmt: Portion of the IT function focused on the system and not the content of company network technologies including internal and/or external Internet-, intranet-, or extranet-based applications.
  • Identifies opportunities for system enhancements, including technology upgrades, multimedia applications, database interactions and data modeling tools.
  • Manages the function responsible for researching, tracking and understanding new web technologies and providing leadership for development of service applications and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to intranet and external Internet-related systems.
  • Manages, develops, integrates and implements related applications components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration.
  • Plays a leading role for projects including programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications.
  • Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.
  • May coordinate relationships with outside vendors in developing tests to ensure feature functionality.
  • Recommends system improvements, monitors design progress, and prepares design project reports.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Survey Tip: May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
