Senior .Net Developer

Summary of Position:

The Senior .Net Developer will help to build the next generation of our mission-critical systems. This individual will be responsible for developing systems to support business needs as defined by the current and future business requirements. S/he will also
be required to integrate existing systems with new systems as the business or technical demands evolve. Additionally, the position will be a mentor for the rest of the team providing architecture and implementation guidance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designs and Develops proposed software solutions

• Maps business requirements to a physical model

• Adopts and maintains programming standards to continually improve quality of applications software

• Ensures that established development methodology is followed

• Ensures that system, program, and job documentation is complete and current

• Maintains production applications as required

• Evaluates/audits operational applications as requested, and recommend any performance improvements that could be made

• Develop, integrate, and configure add-on/complimentary software to our SalesForce and SharePoint

• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, (or similar); or equivalent work experience required

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and RDBMS preferred, ideally SQL Server

• 5+ years of experience with object oriented languages preferred, ideally 5 years C#.NET

• Professional experience with Microsoft development stack required: ASP.NET and ASP .NET MVC, Entity Framework, Silverlight, WCF and WCF Data Services Ability to work interchangeably and independently on cross-platform technologies

• Professional experience with SalesForce development preferred

• Professional experience with AngularJS strongly preferred

• Experience with Agile Development methodologies

• Working knowledge of object oriented software design and design patterns

• Ability to work with technical and nontechnical people

• Working knowledge of Agile development processes

• Ability to learn new technology quickly and excited to learn new technologies as needed

• The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative team and be a disciplined self-starter who can work alone when necessary

Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position listed above

• Lifting: 0-25 lbs; frequency of lifting: infrequent

• Ability to speak and listen on a telephone

• Ability to type, and view a computer screen

• Ability to bend and sort paperwork in a filing cabinet

CIEE’s typical work week is Monday-Friday, forty hours per week. Regular work schedules may vary based on business needs.
