Senior .Net Developer

Rypen is a furniture and lighting design firm with its foundation built on technology and is seeking to fill a full-time .NET developer position in our growing company based here in Minneapolis. This senior-level position will work directly with the company’s head of technology on a wide variety of projects across multiple frameworks and platforms.

As the ideal candidate, you’re passionate about programming, open to new technologies, and enthusiastic about collaborating with a small but talented team. You’re proud of the work you do, and informed on web trends; aware of your end users, and value the QA process. Having full stack capabilities is a major plus but you’re specifically proficient with .NET MVC, C#, SQL Server and Entity Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

– Architect and execute web solutions for a wide variety of assignments including system maintenance, small projects, large projects and system infrastructure alongside the head of technology.

Requirements:

– 7+ years of development experience required

– Proficient in .NET MVC

– Proficient in C#

– Understanding of .NET Core’s capabilities

– SQL Server experience and and understanding of relational database concepts.

– Basic understanding of Entity Framework (Code First) in relation to the above

– T-SQL and SQL stored procedures is a bonus, but not required
