Summary:
Packsize is seeking an awesome Senior Developer (.Net) to help our exceptional teams deliver great code in a timely manner. Join our R&D team in developing innovative solutions to revolutionize a trillion-dollar industry! This position is full-time and based at our global headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and assure the quality in software that controls our rapidly growing fleet of packaging machines and business applications that leverage them

Work independently as well as collaborating with team members to design, implement, test and support our software solutions

Self-motivated to keep up with the latest advancements in technology and implementation strategies

Feel empowered to unleash your creativity to challenge the status quo

Experience and Education Required:
8+ years of experience in professional software development with an emphasis in Distributed Architecture

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields

Preference given to Masters Degrees

.NET web applications and APIs in C#

RabbitMQ for messaging

Visual Studio

NoSQL Databases, including MongoDB

Angular 1, moving to Angular 2 (preferred)

GitHub

TDD

Qualifications (including Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Experience working with creating/improving software interfaces for industrial warehouse-based machinery

Able to visualize and articulate concepts to Packsize customers, employees and end-users of all types

A personality that loves a challenge, working cross-functionally with business partners and shares our passion for what we do!

Dependency Injection pattern

Pub/Sub (publish–subscribe) pattern

Experience with a plugin based architecture

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Travel outside of the office is minimal, but can happen on occasion
