Job Description

Specific Responsibilities and skills for Position:

The Sr. Manager of Integrated Delivery Management provides day-to-day management and oversight of cross-functional ERP Delivery activities for the technical teams who support the following work streams; Record to Report, Order to Cash, Plan to Make, Procure to Pay and Project Costing. This role will also develop and implement annual plans, programs, and objectives for the ERP team to ensure consistency in how we deliver to the business. In addition, there will be specific focus on the following areas to support the ERP teams including activities to:

  • Maintain direct knowledge of current and future capabilities across the business applications portfolio for ERP
  • Collaborate with business continuity team to develop robust capabilities for disaster recovery for ERP applications
  • Lead activities to ensure proper and timely completion of current acquisition integration activities, and lead future acquisitions integration activities for the ERP team
  • Provide support and documentation for ERP Governance
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of ERP Foundational tools
  • Oversee Release Management across the ERP platform
  • Provide support and communication with our Managed Services Partner who provides ERP Build and Implementation services
  • Maintain ERP website and lead support for overall ERP Communications to key stakeholders
  • Optimize operational processes for ERP delivery services and support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Help craft individual goal setting to align with corporate and department goals
  • Proactively mentor and train staff to continually improve services and support to ERP customers and stakeholders
  • Support the Unity framework for overall ERP Architecture review and alignment with current strategies
  • Work with ERP technical team members and other groups working in the ERP systems to ensure GxP compliance and processes which will ensure the minimization of CAPAs and Deviations
  • Participate in decision making process on quality, compliance and fiscal matters as related to the groups operating budget and Managed Services monthly invoices
  • Manage multiple projects when required to ensure consistency on ERP Delivery
  • Develop and communicates updates as needed to share with ERP customers and stakeholders within and outside IT
  • Anticipate conflicting needs and proactively resolve them

Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • Maintain and update existing documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Manage activities required to support the ERP Team, coordinating across project boundaries as appropriate
  • Ensure individual goal setting is effectively linked to corporate and department goals
  • Proactively make recommendations to appropriate business units regarding the alignment and integration of new services, projects and enhancements that further support and strengthen the capabilities of the ERP system to support the business
  • Oversee activities of direct staff and adapt staff deployment to changing priorities, to ensure key goals are met according to our commitments

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in a support services lead role in enterprise business applications such as Oracle EBS, SAP, Workday and other similar systems used by various user communities globally, ideally in the Biotech / Pharma industry.
  • Working knowledge of GxP controls.
  • Experience of contract and vendor management
  • Strong end user orientation, initiative and ability to work within and matrix to define and deliver consistent results and continuous improvement
  • Ability to plan, manage and evolve ERP delivery, including demonstrated experience of capacity planning, staffing and budgeting
  • Ability to understand quickly and clearly articulate business issues to the IT Team and IT issues to Business stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively (presentation, written and verbal) in dealing with Business and IT stakeholders as well as 3rd party service providers / vendors
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to details
  • Independent, self-motivated, self-managing, proactive and responsive with a bias for action and results
  • Experience and comfort in working at all levels within business and IT teams, ability to manage conflict effectively and drive forward agreed operations and service improvements
  • Ability to manage user and stakeholder expectations through strong people skills, process-orientation, effective use of facts and data and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Good business judgment
  • Prior experience in internationally distributed, matrix / network environment
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience working with Managed Services Providers in an Enterprise Application Support role
  • Significant experience in Application Support and all the respective application support management processes
  • Understanding of the ITIL Framework

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in management information systems, computer science, engineering, business and/or related field is desired
