Senior Full-Stack Java Developer – Career Opportunity

As a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer, you will utilize your experience to build and enhance the ArborMetrix platform, which is the underlying foundation of the company. We are looking for an individual with extensive Java skills, along with a strong understanding of Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML5, and JUNIT among others. In addition, the individual will have a strong algorithmic and analytical background. All work is done in a team setting with a focus on accountability and success, requiring consistent communication, high standards, and the passion to deliver exceptional products.

Our experienced developer needs, in addition to a solid foundation in Java, proven communication and analytic skills, the personal drive to work well within a small-team and collaborative environment, and experience with large-scale SaaS solutions. The ArborMetrix application helps our clients optimize the quality and cost-efficiency of their hospital and specialty care. ArborMetrix’s clients include hospitals and health systems, collaborative quality initiatives, and professional societies across various surgical specialties, health plans, and accountable care organizations.

Qualifications

• Strong Java skills
• Deep familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML5, JUNIT, etc.
• Agile methodologies
• Strong algorithmic and analytical skills
• Extensive experience with computationally-intensive and/or massively scaled SaaS solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to adapt and respond to innovation and change, identifying areas for process improvement

Education and Relevant Experience

• BS/BA or MS in computer science or information systems, or another related technology degree
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
