Senior Java Developer

The Lodging Partner Services team is looking for a passionate software design engineer to join the Marketplace team that pioneers the hotel partner vs customer business innovation.

We’re looking for motivated engineer who is interested in working on the front end web and/or backend services. In this role you will design and implement cloud based web applications and Java service, work with other engineers to solve business and technology problems at hand.

Responsibilities: * Write clean, solid, scalable code and unit tests for Continuous Delivery pipeline. * Identify design and coding problems * Capture and implement technical requirements, such as test harnesses, logging, and operation facilitations * Define development and test environments, including build, configuration, and deployment * Support urgent live-site operations as needed * Facilitate design review, code review, test review, and operation procedure review meetings

Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, AJAX, Handlebar/Backbone/ReactJS, experience with MVC or component-based UI frameworks, Spring MVC and other open source projects * Experience working with geographically distributed teams Work Experience and Education Guidelines: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Professional certifications in computer technology * 3+ years in web software development
