Senior Java Developer

Amick Brown is seeking Java developers with a minimum of 5 years of lead experience

Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)

Job Duties:
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acts as team leader on projects.

Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.

Analyzes user requirements and designs and develops applications.

Determines design methodologies and tool sets.

Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.

Expert Knowledge and competency in the following areas:
Java (Java 2 Standard Edition (J2SE) and Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE))

Java IDE tools such as Oracle JDeveloper 10 or higher

Java Frameworks (Business Components for Java (BC4J)

XML

Web Servers

Oracle 11g or higher
