Senior Java Developer

RM Dayton Analytics has a Consumer Goods client in need of a Senior Java Developer to work in their Cleveland, Ohio location.

The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of business applications for the company’s specific needs.

The position’s primary work assignments involve the centralized systems which use the Oracle relational database management system and run applications written primarily using the Java programming language executing in a Unix environment.

Must Haves:

5+ years of IT experience
5+ years experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
5+ years of Web Application Development Experience in Java/J2EE environment including Java Server Pages (JSP), MVC frameworks, AJAX/JavaScript, CSS, Spring, Hibernate and HTML. Bootstrap, jQuery and Struts2 preferred
5+ years experience in an Enterprise Database Management System, preferably Oracle
2+ years experience working in second programming language (other than Java)
Experience with Source Control environments such as SVN or GIT
Experience configuring application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat
Experience with Unix/Linux OS and shell scripting
Experience creating automated build scripts (Ant/Gradle/Maven)
Experience with C++ and Progress OpenEdge Advanced Business Language and relational database management system is a plus.

Education Required

Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.
