Senior HR Data Analyst

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Responsible for processing, distributing and analyzing employee centered data for appropriate parties within the organization. Functionally supports groups by identifying trends associated with Turnover, Hiring, Headcount, Compensation, and Diversity and Inclusion metrics, etc. Leverages data insights to drive business actions by managing relationships within the organization. Ensures legal compliance in the storing and sharing of all employee data and upholds security standards around information. Promotes a culture of learning and awareness around data to ensure Serta Simmons Bedding drives business decisions from objective metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generates employee record reports from relevant HRIS systems and distributes to appropriate parties.
  • Maintains scheduled reporting to meet the data needs of HR, Operations, Finance and other relevant groups.
  • Holds training sessions around reporting and analysis that allows Business Partners to more closely connect with relevant data. Enables other employees to generate their own reports and analysis to promote data driven culture.
  • Assists with the data transfer process from current to future HRIS systems (mainly Success Factors) and ensures that all reporting and analytic needs will be met in future state.
  • Creates interactive dashboards in HR systems that allows parties to navigate and analyze data independently.
  • Identifies and informs parties of relevant information related to Headcount, Hires, Terminations, Requisitions, etc., that have impact on business outcomes.
  • Is the primary source of record for all employee information and collaborates to ensure accuracy across the business.
  • Assists in analyzing relevant Compensation and Market-competitiveness data as requested in partnership with Compensation team
  • Creates and maintains dashboards on employee data to visually display key information for Leadership and Business Partners.
  • Identifies and calculates Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to enable/promote performance-based culture
  • Assists in the creation and distribution of surveys related to employee engagement, exit interviews, new hire performance; further analyzes the results to determine opportunities for improvement.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to understand business requirements in order to recommend realistic strategies and configure system functionality
  • Creates and maintains derived fields in HRIS systems that allow groups to more effectively find and analyze key information.
  • Resolves escalated end-user issues. Offers technical support as needed
  • Maintains current knowledge on data and analytic trends, best practices for long-term solutions.
  • FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational skills as it relates to data integrity and validity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple branches of business to relay key information in succinct ways.
  • Expert at Microsoft Excel regarding navigation and formula use.
  • Familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint as relates to chart, table and graph creation.
  • EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
    Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in analysis, design, implementation and support of human resources data.
  • Desired:

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent experience is desired.
  • Working knowledge SAP SuccessFactors, ADP Vantage and other HRIS systems
  • Experience working with business intelligence/analytics tools

  • TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel are required.
  • Expertise at displaying data graphically, using Excel and PowerPoint tools.
  • Experience creating dashboards within SuccessFactors that automatically populate and allow end user analysis.
  • HRIS experience specifically with an enterprise wide system such as ADP Vantage, SAP, Dayforce, or Namely.
