Senior Finance Manager – Business Development and Technology, Prime Video

The Senior Finance Manager for Business Development and Technology will be a key finance partner to help drive the growth of Prime Video through distribution agreements with partners worldwide. Additionally, this person will be responsible for managing our technology investments with both internal (AWS) and external partners.
The right individual will have exceptional Finance and Accounting skills, strong leadership skills and solid business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results. He or she will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.
Key Responsibilities include:
Own the financials of new distribution deals worldwide.
Own and execute new technology evaluation and modeling for our worldwide business.
Lead the standardization and improvement of financial & business metric reporting.
Working with accounting to develop accounting policy.
Track and manage operating expenses, headcount, corporate goals and capital expenditures.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in finance, business, computer science, mathematics, statistics or related field
• 7+ years of experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred
• Prior FP&A experience preferred
• Prior people management experience preferred
• Must be comfortable communicating in a cross functional environment and across all levels of management
• Demonstrated project management ability to manage ambiguous and competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
• Technical skills: IBM Cognos analytics, Advanced excel and SQL
