What We’re Looking For:
This leader will drive the execution of projects & programs which impact multiple functional teams within the broader finance and accounting organization and across Vacasa. Successful candidates will have deep experience in Project/Program Management and Technology. Past experience working within Finance and Accounting environments is required. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

In this role, the candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with technical teams to deliver world class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible. This person will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.

This position will contribute significantly to the Finance department and building out a scalable financial reporting environment in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. The Senior Finance & Accounting Program Manager reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Vacasa’s business models, architecture and financial operations
  • Manage multiple complex and large projects simultaneously from initiation through delivery
  • Act as the Finance Lead on implementations and upgrades related to all current and future finance and accounting software solutions
  • Ensure strong business case development for all project requests
  • Ensure appropriate finance resources available to work on approved programs/projects, working with finance and accounting leaders to achieve this
  • Lead continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
  • Collaborate and interact with Project Sponsors, Project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex solutions
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
  • Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner
  • Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have Vacasas success firmly in focus

The Skills You’ll Need:

  • Delivery-focused leader who can work independently and collaboratively with domestic and global teams
  • Proven track record in delivering multiple projects including but not limited to finance & accounting platforms, ERPs and systems solutions delivery
  • Experience supporting finance and accounting customers to set and effectively manage expectations, project deliverables, and drive resolution when conflicts or issues arise
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate conceptual requirements from business owners into detailed business and functional requirements with an emphasis toward scalable and efficient global solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven record of innovation and thought leadership
  • Experience effectively presenting to all levels within the enterprise
  • Proven demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. Masters or equivalent preferred
  • Certification(s): PMP and Project Management Qualification Preferred
