Senior Developer

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the development, integration, support, and maintenance of assigned components of the Dassault Falcon information system in accordance with approved MIS standards and processes. This position is part of a team environment and will provide programming resources and support for the various MIS and Business Projects

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the respective MIS management or Project Manager on (Pre)Study, approved projects, and support activities (maintenance and Helpdesk).

Validate and lead the development, maintenance and innovation of reusable development modules that integrate within the established information systems

Validate and assist with the implementation of solutions inclusive of software applications, batch scripts, data management and reporting tools of approved functional requirements taking into account acceptable system performance and user interfaces

Work closely with other Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to support creation of detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables

Lead the process to improve work environment quality by sharing new improvements in technology tools and processes MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Computer Science or related field; equivalent amounts of directly related experience may be substituted for education

Five (5) years of experience in a developer role

Three (3) years of experience with relational database and object oriented programming language

Three (3) years of experience with web development languages

Proficiency in writing SQL

Strong analytical skills

Mastery of algorithm development

Ability to translate project specifications into development tasks

Proficiency with creating user interfaces, focusing on user experience, system steadiness and efficiency

Flexibility to learn new programming languages and methods

Strong organizational and time management skills

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of SAP ABAP, C#, .Net framework, HTML, or JavaScript

Knowledge of MVC design pattern

MS SQL or Oracle database
