Senior Database Analyst

Design, configure, and implement database systems by gathering and analyzing information; documenting and presenting results, for supporting University applications. Provide database support for enterprise systems and applications.. Assist the developers in design, coding and testing. Monitor and optimize system performance.

Qualifications:
Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education:

Courses in business, finance, computer science.

Required Experience:

5 years’ relevant experience as an Oracle database administrator in or equivalent combination. Ability to implement and support web services.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Proficiency in PL/SQL. Knowledge of UNIX and shell scripts. Knowledge of web architecture and infrastructure. Knowledge of web programming languages. Knowledge of SQL server. .Knowledge of Oracle Gird, RAC and RMAN technologies. Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Knowledge of Data Guard and High Availability Solutions, PeopleSoft Technology, Portal Technology, Data Warehousing Solutions, SOA/BPM Platform, SharePlex.
