Position Overview
The Autodesk Cloud Infrastructure team is looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering team.

Come work with the Autodesk Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team and use your expertise and skills to build and support Autodesk’s growing and dynamic SaaS product family.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and deliver a large scale global public cloud presence
  • Develop automation framework for public cloud infrastructure deployments
  • Build infrastructure and application monitoring to detect or prevent incidents
  • Propose cloud-related optimizations and best practices to improve reliability, performance and cost
  • Create tools to automate repetitive tasks
  • Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback for tool improvements
  • Cross-train and mentor teammates
  • Share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Ruby, Java, Go
  • Working knowledge of build automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Well versed in DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking and security
  • Configuration management experience – Puppet, Chef, Spinnaker or Terraform
  • Proficient in monitoring and logging tools – ELK, Splunk, Grafana and Sensu
  • Hands-on experience with modern container orchestration systems
  • Clear communicator with a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage long term, project/milestone based work with multiple teams
  • Ability to interface with several internal partners simultaneously
