We are looking hire a Senior Back End Java Developer with knowledge on designing backend solutions from scratch. For this role, extensive knowledge on working with Spring and Spring Security in a cloud environment is a must have. Ideally the Senior Java Back End Developer will have experience in building an automatically scalable infrastructure (AWS). As a member of our team you will participate in backend architecture design and development. You should be familiar with continuous integration and delivery. Delivering high quality and working code should be the highest priority.

What to expect:

• Developing new features from prototype to production.

• Improve our existing solutions.

• Working with a team of 7 to 10 highly motivated developers.

• Work in DevOps mode. You will be responsible from development to delivery to operations.

• Familiar with test automation and continuous delivery as new software is released constantly.

• Unit testing and integration testing come naturally to you. We expect your code to be thoroughly tested with unit tests and integration tests.

• Aspiration for working with frontend too (iOS).All team members are encouraged to pitch in on both front end and back end development. However, front end experience is not mandatory.

Experience:

• 3 to 7 years of working experience in Java based web development and design.

• 3 plus years of solid working experience building RESTful web services.

• 3 plus years of solid working experience in Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security).

• Experience building cloud based back end.

• Experience working with different databases and database design.

• Experience with Git, Git flow and code reviews.

• Experience with iOS development or HTML5 + JavaScript frontends is a plus.

• Experience with micro service architecture and Docker will be an added plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, engineering, management information systems or equivalent working experience.
