U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Senior Automation Tester Specialist with proven automation testing and project management experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated test scripts.

Approves the Automation Test Plans.

Creates Automation Test Strategies for multiple platforms
Approves the Automation Test Plans.
Leads the audit, evaluation, and review of products and processes.
Automation Architect, scripting & execution on WEB, Digital, mobile, and/or Mainframe applications.
Works with development team on prioritizing automation strategy
Serves as subject matter expert on complex automation scripting and tool usage.
Performs needs analysis of applications and available testing tools.
Expert knowledge in the use of automation tools.
Directing test script creation
Reviews regression scripts on new software releases
Provides technical expertise and guidance, software installation, problem solving and troubleshooting.
Directs the development/selection/use of automated testing and support tools.
Responsible for defining and adhering to Automation Best Practices
Assists with definition and management of software test environments and aids in major audits/reviews of programs and processes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
At least 7 years experience within a total Information Technology (IT) environment.
At least 5 years experience with designing, planning and execution of system testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality at all stages of the system life cycle.
