With their expertise in a specific technology environment, Applications Consultants are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE). These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.

You are an expert in one or more business processes and technology practices and are accountable for translating a business case into a detailed technical design. Alternatively, you are responsible for operational and technical issues and translate technical blueprints into requirements and specifications. You may also be responsible for integration testing and user acceptance testing. You act as a stream lead, guiding team members by experience. You are seen as active member within technology communities.

Certification: Has SE Level 1 and seeking level 2.

Senior Applications Consultant – Transportation Management

JD Edwards knowledge on following areas

•
Experience in implementing and supporting Oracle JDE Enterprise One ERP System

•
Should have experience on JD Edwards Transportation module

•
Must have knowledge on Configuration like transportation constants, shipment, Load, Routings, freight, Vehicle master, etc.

•
Should have sound understanding on setting freight payable and freight billable.

•
Must have understanding on DMAAI flex accounting for transportation

•
Should be experienced on working on 3- 4 life cycle implementation project

•
Experience in JDE E1 9.0 or later is required

•
Should have experience on client facing engagements

•
Ability to develop and maintain Enterprise Applications related (functional and/or technical) documentation, including specifications, validation protocols, and user documentation.

•
Ability to create clear, concise and complete functional specifications for new modifications, work flow and interfaces

•
Strong exposure to Onshore-Offshore model

•
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

•
Ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail.

•
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.

Good oral and written communication skills.

You are seen as active member within technology communities.

• Qualification: Minimum 5 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: Should have SE or ERP/SAP Level 1 and seeking level 2.

• Must have experience in Package Configuration.

• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management.

• Should have baseline skills in Financial Analysis.
