SENIOR ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY: Delta’s eCommerce team is seeking a Sr. Analyst in Digital Product Management with a passion for building an exceptional user experience and growing Delta’s digital and direct channels. The goal of the role is to grow and support digital revenue initiatives on delta.com, mobile and emerging channels. You must be a self-starter and able to build a strategy to improve the shopping, booking and post-purchase experience to achieve business goals. As the customer expert, you will work with UX, design, development and key business stakeholders to define and plan the launch of new features. You will be responsible for continuous optimization of Delta’s digital products and measuring the success of digital initiatives in terms of revenue and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize market research, customer feedback, and web analytics data to understand customer needs, discovering competitive/functional gaps and identifying new opportunities to ultimately define a product roadmap.
  • Support the product development lifecycle for digital products by defining development requirements, creating wireframes with Delta’s digital agency, coordinating design and content for new features, triaging bugs, leading User Acceptance Testing and completing post-launch analysis.
  • Work closely with Digital Product Managers, IT developers, UX designers, and cross-functional commercial and operational business teams to successfully drive, execute and deliver on initiatives.
  • Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization to share priorities, roadmap, and key learnings, serving as an expert on digital functionality and online consumer behavior.
  • Define success criteria and metrics of new products; perform post-implementation analysis and ongoing optimization.
  • Experience with Jira, Adobe Analytics (Omniture/Site Catalyst) and Adobe Experience Manager required.
  • Basic experience in front-end web development (Javascript, HTML, CSS) a plus

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology discipline, or related field and a minimum of 3 years of work experience is required. MBA preferred.
  • Innate curiosity to continuously improve the digital purchasing experience for the traveling public.
  • Knowledge of Delta Air Lines and/or the airline industry, travel landscape and consumer behavior preferred.
  • Prior work experience in Digital, Consulting, Network Planning & Scheduling, Operations, Revenue Management, or Reservations a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment and delivering results on time and on budget.
  • Proven marketing & analytical experience.
  • Technical understanding of web applications and website UI design preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, written & oral communication skills, positive attitude, & able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
