Position Description

• Prepare journal entries for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Complex reporting and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and sub-ledger accounts with heavy use of Excel for data manipulation/mining
• Assist in the preparation of financial data for quarterly (i.e. 10-Q) and annual (i.e. 10-K) reports in accordance with US GAAP, SEC, Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) and other regulatory commission requirements
• Assist with accounting research and compliance issues, including interpretation and application

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a four-year college/university
• Very strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with data mining experience
• Excellent organization and time management skills; comfortable in deadline driven environment
