Senior Accountant

SportsEngine is adding a Senior Accountant with our growing Finance Team in Minneapolis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and integration of acquired companies along with assisting in month-end close and reporting.

Senior Accountant Role and Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting for various revenue streams

Review revenue streams for proper revenue recognition

Integrate financial processes of acquired companies

Support month-end close process

Share your expertise to provide guidance for the team and foster development

Create financial statements and other monthly reports

Assist with coordination of the external audit process

Streamline accounting functions

Assist in the design and implementation of corporate accounting policies and procedures

Perform technical accounting research/analysis on various topics including revenue recognition

Senior Accountant Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in accounting and CPA

3+ years of public accounting experience. Experience with Big Four or large regional firm a plus

Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP

Exceptional organizational skills

Intermediate Excel skills

Effective communication skills
