Security Analyst

NVIDIA is looking for a Security Analyst who is passionate about cybersecurity, and a professional who is looking to take on new challenges. We are looking for an experienced security analyst and operations professional to join our corporate Security Operations team responsible for actively monitoring NVIDIA systems for attacks and intrusions. You will apply your experience and skills to own and drive the resolution of complex security incidents and investigations, policy questions, and technical security issues. Beyond day-to-day incident response activities, you will help design, build, and use infrastructure securely, including work to orchestrate and automate security processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support day-to-day incident response activities, as well as own and drive the resolution of complex security incidents and investigations. From log analysis, to system forensics, to malware reversing, and threat-hunting.

  • Work with security orchestration automation and response technologies to integrate enterprise systems and security systems, build and optimize orchestration and automation playbooks, and build automated actions and responses to security events.

  • Work with MITRE ATT&CK framework and build matrix for NVIDIA corporate, mapping threats and existing controls, to help inform and expand the enterprise security strategy and roadmap.

  • Provide security expertise and guidance to a diverse set of NVIDIA engineering and business teams.

  • Build security tools and processes for critical infrastructure protection, monitoring and remediation.

  • Help vet and design security infrastructure and drive its implementation to protect NVIDIA networks and systems.

  • Lead or participate in the creation and or maintenance of policies, security metrics, standards, baselines, and guidelines.

  • What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • A proven track record with 3+ years of relevant work experience in security.

  • Solid background in incident response, hunting, forensics, intrusion detection and threat intelligence.

  • Experience with attacks and mitigation methods, experience working in two or more of the following: Network protocols and secure network design; Operating system internals and hardening (e.g. Windows, Linux, OS X, Android); Web application and browser security; Security assessments and penetration testing; Authentication and access control; Applied cryptography and security protocols.

  • Highly motivated, independently driven, and good interpersonal skills, with a consistent track record of successful collaboration with cross-discipline and multi-functional teams that coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies.

  • Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Security certificates such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, GCIH or similar

  • Security tools development experience in one or more general purpose languages.

  • Experience with automation or related frameworks.
