The Digital Health Scrum Master will be based in San Jose, CA, and will be responsible for managing different internal and external projects in Flex Digital Health. Internal projects include building the Flex Digital Health platform and external projects include building customer solutions on the Flex Digital Health platform. The Flex Digital Health platform is a cloud-based platform for the healthcare industry, and is used to manage, process, and store patient health data to be used for patient diagnosis and management. You will work closely with the product, development, data science, and operations team to ensure successful execution of the projects.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams.
• Responsible for running sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review/ retrospective, daily standups, and release planning meetings.
• Drive the adoption of agile best practices, including TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, code reviews, automated testing, to ensure that teams deliver on time with high quality.
• Ensure adherence to medical device regulation and data privacy compliance during development of different projects
• Facilitate discussions, decision making and conflict resolutions among stakeholders and team members.
• Quickly remove obstacles to ensure on track delivery of projects.
• Guide and coach the team(s) on how to get the most out of self-organization.
• Communicate with team members, stakeholders and management on project updates and roadmap.
• Prepare and present project updates to customers, ensuring close communication
• Research, onboarding, and contract negotiations of appropriate technology tools and services
• Provide business proposal support and inputs for existing and new business.
• Support appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• 5+ years experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Hands-on experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, and Automated testing.
• Deep understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity and task definition
• Ability to drive effective teamwork with internal and external teams to maintain and improve velocity
• Understand fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• 2+ years of similar work experience in the digital health industry
• Experience releasing medical device digital solutions
• Strong Familiarity with Medical Device development regulations
• Familiarity with health and data privacy regulations
• CSM or SMC certifications
