E
ssential Functions and Objectives:

The
School Leader Development & Pathways Partner
supports the implementation of the DPS School Leader Development Progression,
developing curricula and supporting the management of a competency-based model for aspiring school leaders, assistant principals and principals. The manager will coordinate and support facilitation of cohorts, partner with the teams supporting school leadership development and continuous improvement, and work to align efforts to ensure high-quality, coordinated learning opportunities for leaders across all competencies.

evelop a deep understanding of the DPS School Leadership Framework and create curricular elements that are in alignment.

– D
evelop, coordinate and support implementation of the structure and curricular components related to the School Leadership Development Progression the Denver Public Schools model for supporting and developing school leaders.

– S
upport the design and delivery of differentiated support to our assistant principals and principals working cross-functionally, to integrate and align meaningful development opportunities across developmental phases.

– D
evelop and lead training and support to build the capacity of school leaders to effectively lead teams, with a primary focus on practices associated with coaching, using data effectively, student work analysis, observation and feedback, evaluation, and leading instructional planning through a student-centered and equity lens
.

esponsible for accurate analysis of construction contracts and associated certifications and ensure accuracy.

– D
evelop and facilitate a series of professional learning opportunities to support the continued capacity development of school leaders related to the DPS School Leadership Framework competencies
.

evelop and facilitate professional learning experiences for aspiring school leaders in close collaboration with those overseeing the school leader pipelines
.

– C
ollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strong professional learning experiences school leaders.

– W
ork in partnership with Lead in Denver team members to ensure aligned and high quality support and development for school leaders.

– P
rovide field support through school visits, coaching conversations and connections to resources for administrative interns, assistant principals, and principals.

– S
upport marketing and recruiting efforts related to Pathway programs and School Leader systems and processes.

– U
se data to inform and refine training and support and track school leader participation in professional learning experiences.

– P
rogress monitor impact of professional learning through school visits, observation, document review, etc.

– P
erform other duties as assigned.
